Since coming to Congress, Congressman Miller has established himself as one of the staunchest conservatives in the House and a leader on the House Armed Services Committee. He has championed numerous tax relief and veterans' measures and fought for less government, less taxes, and more personal freedom.

Congressman Miller has an established track record in Washington as a strong advocate for veterans' concerns. He successfully supported changes to concurrent receipt and initiated a greater co-sharing policy between the military and veterans' clinics.

Appointed to the Subcommittee on Air and Land Forces and as the Ranking Member to the Subcommittees on Terrorism, Unconventional Threats and Capabilities, Mr. Miller is critically positioned to support U.S. troops as they evolve to meet the continuing threat of the War on Terrorism, particularly as they impact special operations forces. From his seat on the Readiness Subcommittee, the Congressman will have continued oversight of the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) process.

Jeff Miller has consistently been ranked as one of the most conservative members of the House of Representatives.  Miller is a supporter of the Fair Tax and has maintained an “A” rating from the National Rifle Association.
